If you want to swim fast, you need to kick fast.

I'll try thinking of it that way. The other problem I have is that my feet still try to cross over when I'm trying to kick more than two beats.
I have the same issue when swimming and I think it has something to do with breathing on the left side. When I bi-lateral I don't cross-over. Try it and see if that's the case with you ekw.
