I am going to buy my 12 year old daughter a high performance swimsuit for christmas. Price is not an issue. Any recommendations on what is the best suit out there right now?
As a female, I'm not sure what the guys are talking about when they say "speedo endurance" as a "tech" suitI was parsing words a bit as the poster asked for a high performance suit. I find endurance suits to be exceptionally high performance.
...I swam an end of the year SCM meet this past weekend in my YingFa, doing two events--the 400 and 200 IM's--I ordinarily never swim. I swam faster in the 400 IM than I did five years ago in a TYR body suit at Rutgers, and if Event Rankings is to be believed, I have the #2 time in the event right now in my age group. I also improved my 200 IM time by two seconds (when converted to yards), this after only about a half hour or less rest following the 400 IM...My point exactly.
I just watched a bunch of 12/u's kill some swims this weekend in ratted out lycra suits.
Where did you see Jim swim this weekend?
