I just returned from watching the 2013 Nationals & World Championship Trials and three 2012/2013 USMS members made the team that will represent Team USA in Barcelona. Eugene Godsoe made the team in winning the 50 and 100 Fly and BJ Johnson was 2nd in the 200 *** and this was the first selection for both swimmers in a meet of this level. They represent the Stanford team. Micah Lawrence swam to a second place in the 200 *** and this was her second selection because she is an Olympian in this same event last year.
Besides Megan Jendrick, other past USMS members to make the finals in an event were Adam Mania, Josh Schneider, Nelson Westby, Tim Phillips, Erica Erndl, Cullen Jones, and Anthony Ervin. Madison Kennedy was 9th just missing the finals in the 50 Free.
