Looking for some new ideas for my upcoming mile swim on Nov 22 for time. I have put in the yardage. Form is solid. I a middle distance guy who swims better mid to later in a practice. Not a sprinter nor distance guy
What should I be thinking about during the swim?
So much for all the good advice. Yesterday, we had the build up swim. It was 1000 yards.
I was solid for the first 400.Then, for some unexplainable reason, I decided that pacing was not for me. I became oxygen deprived, miserable and ground out the remaining 600. No fun. What a knucklehead. It was 14:00.
Will need to think more, next Tuesday.
