I have my wife swimming 3 or 4 times a week. Her fingernails are splitting and tearing as a result of all the time in the water. Any suggestions for protecting fingernails? Thx!

I play guitar and my nails have been awful this fall. Thanks to this thread, I'm at least gonna put an oil-based skin moisturizer on my nails before swimming and I'll likely get The Fortress's nail formula.
