The USMS website has undergone several changes since its inception in 1996. There have been two wholesale redesigns of the website look and feel, plus a number of incremental changes in between the major redesigns. Click on the below links to see how it has changed.

I had a Geocities site way back when. I went for the "upload your own HTML" option. Written in a text editor, of course :D. By today's standards, very dated and boring, but much less annoying (at least to me).
