I'm sure this topic has been covered, but my search was so wide I couldn't get an answer. I am downsizing my life and need to downsize my stuff. I have been blessed with many beautiful swimming medals -in the 100's- and have decided to keep only one from each significant event. So what to do with the rest?
Does anyone know of any organization that could use a lot of Masters Swimming medals? I hate to just throw them away!

Do you have a garden? Take the medals off the ribbons, then press the medals into concrete stepping stones. Here are some instructions:

I gave all my old medals and trophys to the Boys Club - the generic ones without meet names they used for awards at camp and at the clubhouse and I think they used the other ones for crafts.
We also have a team member who works with a children's hospital. He says that they'll take old medals to give to the kids who are patients. If there is a children's hospital in your area, you might check with them to see whether they want them.
