No swimming --- yard work like cutting down a tree & trimming bushes ???
Ugh, that was last weekend. Too bad I didn't notice all the poison ivy that has taken residence in my yard.
No swimming, but I did a lot of LABOR today. Re-wiring and adding of a new electrical outlet, splitting a few circuits (bathroom/laundry room lights that formerly had one switch in the bathroom only), adding switches, adding new lights in the basement. Definitely a full day's work. I'm glad I had my dad to help me and do most of the instruction. He is a retired electrician, so this wasn't too bad...but I did save a bundle on my not having to pay for an electrician for 8+ hours of time.
Lots of surprises in my old 1922 house, that's for sure, and it'll be work for a lifetime.
...and my wife is happier too. That makes my life happy too. :bighug:
So proud of myself - did 7800 today all in one workout :applaud:(check out my blog). How much did you swim today? :)
:applaud:  :cheerleader: That was a heck of an interval to keep up for 18x100's, girl! Whewww! And, 7800 is DOUBLE what I swim in a good day. (I only labored 3,300 on Labor Day. )
Moles have invaded my yard. I'm currently at war with them and caught one Saturday, but there's many more so I spent most of my time in the yard with no swimming. Did weights for about 2 hours.
I ran 2 miles... BUT that was my first run in 6 years :)
Wow! That's impressive - I don't think I could run 2 miles all at once if I hadn't been running for 2 years, no way.
5,000 Meters AM Workout
2,000 Meters PM Workout
Great Day for a couple of laps in the pool.
Wow Bill - that's nice - I do that sometimes, but I usually regret the second workout of the day cuz I'm so tired from the first one.
Sounds like a lot of people were plenty productive today!! Fortunately for me, I have a husband (they come highly recommended!) who does my yard work for me! I also after practice this morning went grocery shopping & picked up some things that had been repaired, like my sewing machine - got back home in time to have my daughters and their families (5 grandchildren 7 & under) over to swim, play croquet & have a cookout. Then after everyone left I had to mop all the floors, as you can imagine! I was grateful for the rain this evening - got me out of playing tennis - I was too pooped to do anything more!
I'm glad I had my dad to help me and do most of the instruction. He is a retired electrician
Now that's a good dad to have!
I did a lot of yard work today. Still a ton more to do. I did manage to get to the pool, but swam just a quick 3,000 meters.
