Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am 45 and haven't been wet on purpose, except for the shower, in about 10 years (car accident). I have gotten back in the water for about 2 weeks now and have decided to swim in a competitive race in 31 days (Sept 22). My 25 times for 12x25 fly on forever rest (3 minutes) are 12 to 13.5 seconds, but I am worried about entering a 100/200 fly and 100/200 I.M. I just want to see where I am at the competition and maybe compete in earnest for the Spring meet and/or PanAm in June, but short term...what should I do?

You obviously still have the speed- great times for being out so long and at 45. But remember the 100/200 fly was tough enough when we were kids and in shape. Maybe the 50 instead just to break the ice? Just my :2cents:
