If a workout includes a kick exercise, does that always mean kicking with a board?
For example if the exercise is:
4 X 125 25 KICK/50 DRILL/50 SWIM @ 2 : 00 (about 10 sec rest)
that would mean that if I use a board for the 25 kicking the board would always be at the other side of the pool for the next round. I would technically need 4 boards piled at my pool end or do I just do kicking w/o a board?

Assuming you are in a 25yard pool, you only need 1 board for this. Kick the 25 and leave the board at the far end of the pool. Swim/drill 2 50’s and you will end up at the far end with your 1 board.
Ah, ok......I see what you mean. My example was bad.
Last week one workout included this exercise: 4 X 50 KICK/SWIM SPRINT @ 1 : 00
In that case the board would end up on the other side of the pool.
