2012 Short Course World Championships are in Istanbul, December 12-16.

Selection meets for Team USA were Olympic Trials, the Olympic Games, and the US Open. Those were all long course meets which did not contest the 50 stroke events, the 100 IM, the men's 800 free, or the women's 1500 free. USA Swimming's selection procedures for the non-Olympic events do not even mention the 100 IM:
