NJames, looking at your history, fly and free are your world. Maybe you can fake an IM but you are going to be crushed in the 200 *** by someone who is almost eligible for Medicare.
Actually James can swim a very good 200 BR (short course at least.) I am looking forward to racing him. It should be fun!
Well, the race between the Louisville Lip and the Cagey Veteran was good, but Allen couldn't quite stay with James. Allen kept within a body length of James for most of the race, but couldn't hold on at the end and James took it 2:45 to 2:50. Potential spoiler That Guy overhauled Allen at the end for a 2:48.
Good swims by James and TG. I died at the end.Oh well,I just have to work harder so that I don't next time.2:45 is going to be tough to match for an old man in any case:cane:,but it gives me some incentive.
Now,would James and TG like to have a rematch next summer LCM?

Heat 2 of the 200 Fly is going to be fun. I've got a race going with a younger lady who is two lanes over. I've researched her times from when she was younger in Oregon, and she's quite the swimmer.

Thanks Elaine & Allen. Regridge....hmmm. LCM, I'll probably have to do it virtually some time this summer, because I highly doubt we'll be at the same pool doing the 200 *** at the same time, but I'll more than likely have a 200 *** at sometime over the summer.
The negative of LCM breaststroke... -4 pullouts :afraid: conclusion...Allen wins.
