FINA Approved Stamp to be Moved to Inside of Suits
-- August 14, 2012
"FINA will now be required to place its FINA approved logo on the inside of every suit. Brackin stated that officials told the coaches in attendance that the FINA logo on the outside of the suit had been considered to be advertising"
Does that little black & white sticker on your butt with the FINA logo and bar code make you want to go out and buy some FINA?

This isn't April 1st and the story isn't from The Onion, so I presume it's true. Good thing FINA is concerned about the real issues. Gold medal winners admit to cheating in breaststroke, but the more pressing issue is where to put the "FINA approved" logo. Uh huh.

Thanks for posting. Thanks for another post on FB today, I was looking up the 1980 Trials results on usaswimming and saw Glenn's name, along with many others who were denied so much by such a stupid decision. I was 13 at the time and had been hooked on the Olympic dream after watching Goodell's awesome 1500 in Montreal. I remember feeling a deep sense of the injustice of the boycott even at that age. I'm glad Glenn got some "closure" (or whatever you might call it); I loved reading his perspective on it.
