so it just dawned on me and i meant to come and posted during the trials - but forgot.
i saw a swimmer or two wearing nose plugs in the semis and i believe the finals? does anyone else use them? i know i feel like my breathing is cramped and i don't get as much air.
I just had never seen a swimmer at that level wearing nose plugs.
Nose plugs or nose clips are all the rage for elite backstrokers for several years now. My son sometimes will even wear his for the 200 & 400 IM. He says it helps with his SDK quite a bit, improves his head position on the backstroke & doesn't seem to interfere with his *** stroke (his specialty) or freestyle at all.
