50 meter and 100 yards UW by Hill Taylor- www.floswimming.org/.../186553-m-club-50-lcm-back-final-ha-d3 www.floswimming.org/.../80787-friday-afternoon-texas That 100 yard one is not nearly as impressive as I thought it would be. I was expecting 100 yards of kicking/swimming underwater no breath. He takes a breath at each wall when he flips. While impressive speed wise, that 100 basically amounted to 4x25 with a flip turn at 3 ends fast SDK on his back. And before anyone might say "well if it is so easy let's see you do it", I will add that my personal best is 85 meters underwater pullouts, so I know how tough underwater breath control can be. Sorry no video, it was from back in my college days. On another note, those of you that want a monster UW SDK set, try this underwater hockey training set my team used to do: 25^3 (25 cubed) 25x25 @ 25 w/ fins SDK AFAP

I'm sure they've got 100 SCY times that are :39s/:40s or maybe faster. citation needed]

I think the 75 yards/32 secs converts to roughly 23.3 for 50 meters.

Not really too fast. I'm sure they've got 100 SCY times that are :39s/:40s or maybe faster. That's under :10 per 25, and with SDK being just as fast or faster, :32 for a 75 is right in there. Nah, he didn't go a :32 in a 75. Hill Taylor in full pants is atleast as fast as Lochte in jammers and based on the video, Taylor is probably good for a 34 mid in a 75. So I think Locthe probably was :34 which is insanely fast and only a dork like me would really even care about the difference between :32 and :34. And of course this wouldn't be the first time that Locthe has exagerated about how fast he has gone!

What the heck are they doing swimming short course right now? SCY should be a no no til London. Craziness. LC training is tougher. Eddie told me his swimmers swam faster LCM when they did 3 LCM workouts a week instead of 5 or 6 out of the 9 practices SC allows swimmers to swim at a faster pace in practice.

Calvin, consider that both of the featured videos of Hill were done in season with no rest. The 100 in particular was in mid Nov.,at the height of training, at the end of practice on a Friday after a hard week of training.Although there is no video, his freshman year he went a 50 LCM with a small monofin in 16sec!
