    Training harder doesn't always mean training smarter. Is a four year training plan necessary for peak performance? That's a long time to be zoned in and perhaps it's not necessary. Agreed. As long as the fitness level can be recouped in time it shouldn't be a big deal. The comments are probably coming from someone who busted their tail but still lost out to what he perceived as a half hearted training effort (by Phelps). Still, it's not the best form to make negative remarks about your team mate(s) even if it was an honest opinion. Personally I think Phelps will be as dialed in as ever as he's got to hold off not only Lochte, but the long awaited rematch with Cavic.
