2012 Marriott Summer USMS LCM Nationals in Omaha, Nebraska

In 2012, the USA Swimming Olympic Trials will once again return to Omaha and this time the Marriott USMS Summer Nationals will follow the USA Swimming Olympic Trials. All the pageantry from the Olympic Trials will be in place for the Marriott USMS Summer Nationals. Event heats will be broadcast live in the CenturyLink Center on the JumboTron. We will produce and broadcast our daily USMS SwimCenter from Omaha. Get your picture taken on the Olympic Trials podium.

Yes, in general I agree. This was an obvious sandbagging case, however, that made me notice enough to look her up after the fact. 40 seconds off a seed time for a good swimmer swimming a 200 race should have been enough for anybody to take notice at how obvious the sandbagging was... Giving praise to somebody for taking off a second or two- or even several- is great. But, 40? :shakeshead:
I think you are underestimating the possibilities of what can occur to a person in the course of a week or so. I know once I had to start taking Beta Blockers for a stupid heart arrythmia I've had my whole life (and didn't know about) my swim times have plummeted and will never be the same. It's entirely possible that the times this person entered might be their best based on their current situation and they should be applauded for the effort of trying. Either way I resign myself to the fact that it's always in good form to speak kindly of others accomplishments and I'm happy this lady had a better 200 than she thought she was going to have. I don't mean to attack you Elaine but I think you are being petty. If you feel this way that is fine but maybe you should just keep it to yourself. :angel: :badday: :worms: :cheerleader:
