Hey Forumites! Is there an orthopaedic specialist out there who swims and is familiar with thoracic outlet syndrome? I have a theory regarding TOS and swimming 200 breaststroke, and would like to know if I'm on to something here. I don't need a consultation; I would just like to ask a question to another Forumite who is familiar with both angles; TOS and breaststroke technique. Thanks for the good wishes, Elaine. I'll try that test, although I think my arm will hold up longer than yours did. You must have had some very serious compression of the artery.
I tried 10 events in a two day meet two years ago. People looked at me like I was crazy, and afterward I knew why! You're much tougher than I am, so good luck!
