Sorry, I feel sure this must already have been discussed, but I can't find a previous thread addressing this easily. I'm a Pac Masters swimmer who is getting back into the swing of things after a couple years away from the water. Unfortunately, our next (non-open water) meet after today's meet in San Jose is in August. I would ideally like to swim one meet per month between now and then.
It seems as though the best way to do this is to join USAS and swim in their A/B/C meets here in the Bay Area if it is permissible to do so. (I am 26.) Is this permissible? Does anyone here do this? Thanks in advance.

Thanks to both of you for the quick, helpful response. One follow-up question. I see this in the meet sheets for the USAS meets:
UNACCOMPANIED SWIMMERS: Any USA-S athlete-member competing at the meet must be accompanied by a USA Swimming member-coach for the purposes of athlete supervision during warm-up, competition and warm-down. If a coach-member of the athlete’s USA-S Club does not attend the meet to serve in said supervisory capacity, it is the responsibility of the swimmer or the swimmer’s legal guardian to arrange for supervision by a USA Swimming member-coach. The Meet Director or Meet Referee may assist the swimmer in making arrangements for such supervision; however, it is recommended that such arrangements be made in advance of the meet by the athlete’s USAS Club Member-Coach.
What do you all do about this? Do you actually have a USAS coach, or do they not bother you about this?
