Is there a plan in place to renovate/replace/add to the TSC?
I know when I was in school back in the mid 90's they had a plan for an outdoor pool where the parking lot is as well as a complete re-do of the TSC.
That was nearly 20 years ago. The building is nearly 40 years old.
Any ideas? rumors?

It is one of the best facilities in the country, and renovation is fine. Admittedly I have not been to many of the newer facilities, but I would rank TSC as one of the top 3 pools in which I've swam... And I much prefer it to the sterile Indy pool.
Plus, as the results from the last two women's and men's NCAA champs show, a great facility is not a prerequisite for getting recruits or producing great results.
The single Cal 50m pool was built in 1983, and is shared by men's and women's swimming, water polo and diving, plus student rec swimmers. It has no diving tower, and is frequently ensconced in fog and rain. In its first few years of existence, it was heated by the system from the old pool, a 33 1/3y classic from the 1920s. That pool produced the 1979/1980 NCAA championship teams of Graham Smith, Par Arvidsson, Peter Rocca, etc.
