Arena says their new suit uses carbon fiber for "durability and intelligent compression." Pretty cool if true. Haven't seen any pricing info though.

What part of fabric doesn't FINA understand?
Have you ever seen carbon fiber? It sure looks like a fabric when woven! Wikipedia agrees, too:
Several thousand carbon fibers are twisted together to form a yarn, which may be used by itself or woven into a fabric.

"Fabric" doesn't imply a natural material otherwise none of the current suits containing lycra, nylon or polyester would be legal.
edit: now that I think about it the suit rules use the word "textile" rather than "fabric," correct?
