It's not too often funny things happen in swimming (compared to other sports, in my opinion). This is pretty good though.
I'm very surprised the starter started the race with the guy facing the wrong way
That's why I kinda figured the officials must have been "in on it." I just can't imagine they'd start the race with the guy facing backwards otherwise. I think it's OK if everyone else in the pool knew these guys were just going to swim as a goof even if the other teams played it straight. If not then I think it's really bad sportsmanship.
