Thanks Allen! Had I known that my Canadian times would not count I still would have gone to Montreal. It is a half day drive a much cheaper meet and I like the city.
Chris as far as reading the rule book, I am not going to do that. It is my understanding that a motion to accept the Montreal results could have been granted notwithstanding the rule.
I'm pretty sure that I mentioned on the other Canadian Nationals thread that the meet director told me that the pool would not be measured long before the meet. Among other reasons, this caused me to cancel my trip. (It was an expensive flight for me too.)
