How to build up endurance to swim the 200 fly? I haven't competed in this event in almost 30 years, but I can still do a respectable 50 fly. Is it lost forever, or can I get it back? Or maybe at least the 100 fly? Any training tips or advice? :afraid:

mainly train for the 200 & 500 free, do some fly training
Learn correct splitting for the 200 fly & what the correct 200 fl effort level feels like
build up your fly distance in practice
do a 25, then a 50, 75, 100, 125, 150, 175, 200
swim a fast 200 fly for time in practice once a week
improve your SDK
