Fitness Log suggestion

I know there are a lot of superhuman swimmers here where 8,000yds per day, six days a week is just part of their day-to-day activities. (My shoulders hurt just typing that!) Many of us are more human and do something other than swimming. Consider me. My right shoulder was pretty wiped out at the end of March when the winter season ended, so I stayed almost completely away from the water until mid-October. Here's where my suggestion comes in. Today, if I look at my Fitness log page it says: My Go The Distance 2011 goal: 100.00 mi. Progress towards goal: You'll need to pick up the pace to achieve your goal this year: My goal pace: 99.45 miles required as of today to reach my goal by the end of the event My actual current pace: 98.43 miles as of today The FLOG calculator thinks I'm way behind because it's estimating my daily yardage over the entire year, thinking that I only swim 477 yards per day. I think it would be better if the FLOG calculator confined its estimate of your expected yardage using just your yardage from the last 30 days or so. :2cents: Skip

  • The flog is a great tool and I wouldn't want it to ever go away, but if USMS is taking suggestions, here's mine -calculator so you can determine yardage between two dates -search function -an option to have a different avatar showing you swam open water so it is easier to see when cruising through the months I guess that's it. Oh! The ability to print. Some of these options may already be available. I just haven't figured out how to do it yet.
