Just saw the ad. $395 for the jammers and a mere $100 for the goggles. Ya know, unmanly as I am, I enjoyed those full body tech suits, thought they were fun, and they sure helped us Masters swimmers feel fast. Don't know all the machinations and politics that got them banned but am suspicious....of Speedo. A fellow Masters swimmer chided me the other day at a meet, saying that if I thought those goggles (at $100) would help me go faster I would probably buy them. Sad, but true. But I have a hard time believing that anyone will be buying these goggles and suspect that unless they are paid plenty for wearing them, the elite swimmers won't wear them either. I think this constitutes a gripe! G Shaw
