Just saw a couple incredible ones:
15 year old (yes, you read that right) Ryan Hoffer 19.55 in the 50 free.
swimswam.com/.../Ryan swims on my kids' team, is a great kid and a joy to watch swim. Somewhere I read that that 19.55 would've placed him 10th at NCAAs this year!
He was also an incredible 48.1 in the 100 fly and, were he able to swim more events, his 100 back would've been sickly fast, as well. It's amazing the difference two years makes for a 13 year old boy vs a 44 year old man. Back in November 2011 at a USAS meet, I could hang with him in the 100 fly (he was 55.3 and I was 55.5). Now, I fear I'd still be at the 75 when he was finishing. I expect you're going to see some even greater things from him over the coming years.
