>> why is this new and revolutionary?
>> because this is the first time it's a three-piece system that everything goes together so you buy it, the buy the cap, the goggles, the suit and makes you more hydrodynamic and it has a body stability web which compresses you.
>> we're going to see more of it and talk to you about where you guys are in training as you prepare for london, but first these messages and your local news.

True, especially at 2012 olympic trials, you'd hate to barely miss a slot because you wore the wrong suit
Yes, this is true, but for most of us at the little ol' Po'dunkvilletown 1st Annual Masters Open meet, who's going to put out that kind of dough for a suit??? Or even for an multi day invitational for that matter???
I'm fine with $25-$30 for a Yingfa, and I've swam great with them. :)
And also, it doesn't matter what kind of suit you're wearing. If you don't put in the time training, the suit won't do anything.
$400 for a jammer is obscene!!! I suspect Kirk is right, and that the line will not do well at those inflated prices. I wonder if B70 and Arena will respond with a competing better priced product? Although all 3 companies have been getting away with selling women's kneeksins for the same price as the old B70s for a couple years now.
And that's exactly one of the big criticisms of the old tech suits -- people thought it allowed masters to swim fast without putting all the training in.

Counterpoint - I can't imagine spending tons and tons of hours training, getting up early, torturing myself and letting $400 stand between me and my goal time for an event at a big meet.

it's surprising to me that there's such a price gap between the
$395 JAMMER FASTSKIN3 SUPER ELITE HIGH WAISTED and the
$260 JAMMER FASTSKIN3 SUPER ELITE

I'm sure everyone at OTs will have them.
Was Geek was speaking of others perhaps? And I agree with his counterpoint.
$135 more for the extra inch of fabric.
It's almost like trying to regain control by setting another standard of performance even if there's some legitimacy to it. But are we even a significant part of marketing equation, just caught up in a bigger scheme to sell more $13 goggles to the consumer?

Then don't buy them and stop whining about it. Geez, no one is forcing this on you.
I've been analyzing.....
So why doesn't FINA just approve the use web gloves and accept the new world's records as being valid like those set using tech suits? :agree:Speedo's FS3 marketing seems to have had some success already.
True, especially at 2012 olympic trials, you'd hate to barely miss a slot because you wore the wrong suit
Yes, but how do you know this is the right suit? Nobody knows if this suit is better than any of the suits that are already available.
