Also this weekend is the Western Zone meet in Federal WayOne of the kids from my daughter's team made her 1st Trials cut tonight at the meet. Way cool. There's some fast swimming going on up there. I know my daughter and her teammates are stoked to have Missy and other "elites" there swimming.

I was hoping to see Jeff on Sunday, but I didn't get to the pool until after his 200 IM swim. I did see Schoeman drop a 22.2 prelim swim in the 50 free. That was impressive. I also saw Dennis Baker on deck. Megan Jendrick had some very nice swims considering she probably hasn't been back into heavy training for very long post-baby. Kara Lynn Joyce was impressive as well. She even swam the 400 free and came within half a second of the OT cut in prelims. Not bad for a sprinter! Must be that thin Colorado air she's been training in.
