Very impressive swim. I saw Rowdy swim this event in 1989 Pan Pacific Championships in Indianapolis and he went a 1:50.91, so in 22 years he has only slowed down 3.5 seconds and that is what I am impressed more with.
Any swimmer that has been swimming over 20 years and can come within 3.5 seconds of what they did in a 200 race back 22 years would be just overjoyed.
I have a video of that race and I remember he just hammered every turn. Dan Stephenson was right next to him and swam a 1:53.66 but was getting hammered on all 7 turns.
 1:54.5 (200m), slaughtered the old world record!:bow:
Is this LCM? If so, that's crazy fast!
Edited: What I really meant was "Is this metres!". Short or long, still amazing.

He definitely went for it. 55-mid at the hundred? Wow!
Yet very evenly split for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th 50s.
