I have a question. If you are a part of US Masters Swimming, but are not a member of a local team, can you still swim meets? I am a college student who only has time for 1 or 2 of the scheduled practices per week. And yet I am paying $30 a month to be a part of the team. I want to make sure that I can do meets but save myself the $30 for the practices that I don't attend.
Have you told the team you can't afford the monthly fee? Tell them you only want to swim meets & they might cut you a break !
OR register as un attached & just show up & pay the meet fees .
