im a competitive swimmer , swim 5 times a week, well for the past year i realized that i had a dark ring under my eye and it isnt going away at all. i just wanted to know if any other swimmer had this same problem and what they did to get rid of theres if they got it. i recently decided to switch my goggles from speedo vanquishers to swedish goggles because the swedish doesnt have the suction that the vanquishers have. The dark rings gets me very Mad and it looks like i got hit in both eyes

  • When I originally switched over to swedes as a teenager, they were painful. I think I only used them for 10-15 minutes the first few days, and then switched back to my old pair. Eventually I worked up the time until my eye sockets got used to the swedes. You've probably just bruised your eye sockets as they are now. I'd just make up a story about training for the MMA or something cool! :)
