I'm leaving for college in a few days and figured I'd buy a few pairs of swedes for recreational swimming since I lost my other pair. Anyways, I was browsing swimoutlet and came across "sporti antifog swedish goggles" for pretty cheap, and they come with a bungee strap. I just wanna know if quality's any different from swedish brand swedes, which I've grown quite attached to. I like the idea of the bungee strap coming with them, but if the plastic for the goggles aren't any good, I'd rather order separately and pay a bit more.
Thanks for any insight, I need to know sorta soon so I can order them asap since I move in on sunday, but no rush.

guy that I swim with has sea drops. Technically used for scuba masks but do work great for goggles even though it says they're not for that use. The thing is you have to wipe them clean after rubbing the solution in for a few sec otherwise if there is enough left over it can cause eye irritation.

I have had my swedes for 10 years now, they've "fogged" for 10 years, and I treat them like a beater car for 10 years. Shake your head a bit to move the water droplets inside around and they're unfogged again. If in the rare instance this doesn't work, after an interval, pull goggles away from eyes about an inch, rinse in pool or lick, and reapply to face.
Masters swimmers are apparently weird about fogging. You'd think it was a sideache or leg cramp that won't go away . I can't remember a single instance in high school or college swimming of someone complaining about fog enough to do anything besides taking a few seconds to rinse or lick their goggles. What exactly are you trying to see besides the big lines on the bottom of the pool? Is it a learned behavior to need completely fogless goggles? Are you counting the individual tiles? Checking out the lifeguards? Am I the only one here that doesn't give a $#@& about fogging goggles? :afraid::bolt:
All of the above. Recently I discovered the awesomeness of baby shampoo. It's been great on my 14 year old Swedes.
