The national qualifying times for the 2019 U.S. Masters Swimming Spring National Championship have been released. The meet will be held April 25-28 in Mesa, Ariz. More info about the meet, such as hotels, can be found on our meet info page. (Please read this info about the national qualifying times.)
Where are you in Michigan? I train in Battle Creek and there is a group going to Mesa. Michigan swims relays as a state in National level competitions so you'd be able to be added to relays with people from all over the state (unless maybe you're in one of the newest satellite groups and I'm not sure of their status but can definitely point you in the right direction). If your meet is Grand Haven, I'll be there.
I can't make the meet. How do I cancel my entry?
Sorry to hear that, Allen. Check the email you received upon entering. There's an email link to request a refund. The address is events@usmastersswimming.org
Sixth Event, Start Time, Seeding Decisions and Psych Sheets:
The sixth event will not be dropped. Swimmers will have the opportunity to swim all individual events that were entered.
The competition will start at 7:30 a.m. every day.
The 50s, 100s and 200s will be preseeded with the oldest age groups first, slowest to fastest within each age group, men and women separate.
The 400 IMs and 500 freestyles will require Positive Check-In. They will be deck seeded with the oldest age groups first, slowest to fastest within each age group, men and women separate.
The 1000 and 1650 freestyles will require Positive Check-In. They will be deck-seeded slowest to fastest by entry time, regardless of age, with men and women combined.
Psych sheets are available here:

Empty lanes can dampen competitive conditions and we'd like to avoid that when possible. Although we cannot offer any refunds, if you are absolutely certain you will not be swimming any of the 50s, 100s or 200s, please email events@usmastersswimming.org to let us know. You'll be removed from those events before we seed the meet to cut down on empty lanes and provide for more competitive heats. Please note that once we take you out of an event, we cannot put you back in. Scratches will be accepted through April 5.

Hi Jordan. No, there isn't for your particular slate of events. 50's, 100's and 200's are all pre-seeded.
If you're still feeling apprehensive before the event, just don't swim it. We'd rather you have an overall positive meet experience than have you feel that you have to do something you're not comfortable with doing.
I'm imagining though, that by the time the event arrives, you'll have gotten over your concerns and will just hop up on that block and take off.

Championship Committee Chair
You are the absolute best. I appreciate it. I am certain I can finish it (200 FR) but the pain of that last 50 is getting bigger by the day in my imagination. I am super excited and definitely looking forward to sunshine. :)
