The national qualifying times for the 2019 U.S. Masters Swimming Spring National Championship have been released. The meet will be held April 25-28 in Mesa, Ariz. Have Nationals been here before? Does anyone know how much of a hassle (or not hopefully) parking would be?In 2011, they opened a big field next to the pool and parking was fine. Having said that, Uber/Lyft are quite accessible here in the greater Phoenix area, so that will be your best bet for zero parking hazards.
Just bring your sunblock whatever form of transport you take; plan on stopping at one of our many area Costcos before the meet. I remember all these reddened midwest/northeastern swimmers by Sunday in '11. Re-apply sunblock pretty much everytime you get out of the water unless you train outdoors year-round.
