  • OH BOY ! Faster than last year AGAIN ! Don't they realize that I'm getting older and a bit slower?
  • OH BOY ! Faster than last year AGAIN ! Don't they realize that I'm getting older and a bit slower? I hear ya, Orca. NQT's are so far out of reach for me now, I don't stand a chance. The last year I qualified was in 2014. Since my hip surgery and other medical issues, I'm way off the mark. :badday:
  • Hi ElaineK Last year I q timed in 5 now it's just 3 and they are faster. At 71 1/2 aren't those other swimmers due to slow down???
  • Hi ElaineK Last year I q timed in 5 now it's just 3 and they are faster. At 71 1/2 aren't those other swimmers due to slow down??? Everybody slows down at different ages I guess. In some cases (like mine this year), physical issues prevent me from training as much race pace or volume as I would like to train. :dunno:
  • I started the training season later than usual this year due to us returning from a long vacation and it is taking a while to get back into the "swim of things"
  • For any meet directors who may be interested, attached to this post is a Meet Manager Time Standard file for the Indy NQTs that you may wish to import for your SCY meets. I had to Zip the file to be able to post on the Forums - you may have to extract the file from the Zip before importing to MM. Special thanks to Paul Windrath for creating this file. • Yeah! I'm still not any faster!
