The meet was nearly flawless. The only exceptions: The slippery deck. Someone should have anticipated that there would be a problem and taken evasive action. Heartbreaking to see the injuries. Also, with all of the new 65+ speedsters, some slower seniors were getting run over and mowed down in the 65+ lane. Clearly, the really fast people don't belong in that lane if they are running over elderly, slower, swimmers. I don't think that's the intent of the lane designation. Otherwise, it was one of the best Nationals ever! Friendly people, efficiently run, well-organized!
