I'm thinking about training to compete in the Summer Nationals this year (I'm chubby and slow right now so maybe not :) ) and maybe planning a family vacation at the same time as my events are spread out between days. Is there any fun things to do in Maryland to entertain the parents and have some fun?
There is LOTS to do. Wash DC is right around the corner from the University, and Baltimore is also nearby. Several beach resort towns are also about 2 hours away. Annapolis, MD, home of the US Naval academy is about 30 minutes. I promised my teenager that we would make time to take a tour. And we will likely make a trip to the beach :bliss:
