What's going on with the Gold Medal Sponsorship for Spring Nationals? Last spring it was $75. This year it is $175. I don't understand why it would go up so much. I am having a hard time imagining what could be worth that much.
I'll eat breakfast 2-3 hr before my first event,often at the hotel as they seem to generally have complimentary breakfasts.At the meet I subsist on Heed and Lara bars until I finish my events.I may go to the GMS area to snack a little on fruit and visit with friends.After my last event,or between events if there is a long break I'll get a big meal at the GMS area(unless it was Auburn where they were down to crumbs by then). I thought of GMS as a fun convenience and if the food was a little overpriced,well the $ went to the local club.
Here the $ doesn't go to the local club and $175 for convenience only works if they throw in a personal valet(Jeeves,I'm conserving my energy for the 200,please be so kind as to carry me to the block.)
