2012 LCM Nationals

I am happy to announce the sixth event will NOT be dropped for this meet. Swimmers who entered six events will be able to swim all six. The psych sheets are available here: www.usms.org/.../ Due to the size of the meet (the second largest Summer Nationals in the 40+ year history of USMS) we will be deck seeding all events 200 and greater. Furthermore, all of these deck seeded events will be seeded by time (instead of by age group). The 50s and 100s will be preseeded by age group and then time (men and women separate). The 200s and 400s will be seeded by time (men and women separate) while the two distance events (800 and 1500) will be seeded by time with men and women combined (just like Greensboro). While it may be unpopular to seed the 200s by time at Nationals, this scenario creates a shorter timeline than dropping the sixth event on three of the four days.
