Anyone planning to attend Nationals in Omaha? If it wasn't for the venue, I would swim at SCY Nationals. You got to admit, competing in the Olympic Trials pool merely a few hours after Ryan Lochte and Michael Phelps made a splash is awesome!
Drinkers could easily do a 50 free with no visible difference after drinking a six pack. A better event would be something like a 200 free where you have to guzzle a beer at each wall before continuing. Now that would separate the men from the boys! Somehow I doubt USMS would officially endorse either event, though.
Or perhaps 200 back, where not only do you have to drink the beer, but then must balance the empty can on your forehead for the next length?
