Google maps shows me that it's a 1.0mile walk from the Ga Tech hotel to the pool. While I generally trust Google maps, is there anything I should know about the route or any reason I shouldn't walk? For example, is the crossing under I-85 easy to walk?
Aren't people robbed at every college campus? Is it notably more unsafe than any other urban school? As long as the robbers aren't in the market for used B70s, shouldn't I be OK at 6:45 in the morning?
The robberies aren't happening AT the school but just outside. And some are pretty nasty. Don't take a chance. Take the trolly.
