Anyone know?

If the heats will be filmed and published on the web ala 2009 Nats at Clovis? Those were/are awesome resources* and a lot of fun to watch. *well, except for my B0nk in the 100 Fly

  • I think until there is a way for a company to actually make money - or at the minimum at least receive compensation for expenses and a day's pay, we are not going to be able to expect this service consistently at meets. Livestream is REALLY cool. But how many of you chipped in even $25. last year to cover expenses for a company to come in and film? In Long Beach LiveSwim.net did set up a sponsorship opportunity to see if there was interest. Anyone talk to Garrett or Chris (film crew) near the end of Nationals in Clovis last year? They were functioning great, but looked like the walking dead! After watching some of the Zone Champs coverage via friends on Facebook, it sure seems like swimmers video taping each other works pretty well. While we work through this logistic of hiring and compensating a film crew to LIVESTREAM, lets all bring our Flip cameras to the meet and be sure to offer to film each other. (be sure to label your camera with your name) Better than nothing. Watching yourself on film and opening it up to critique from your coach and friends is worth a million if you care about improving and getting faster.
