Instigated by Karen Duggan. Finishers at Nationals are ranked and scored as a mythical dual meet between Walnut Creek Masters and Central Valley All Stars. Scoring through sixth place 7,5,4,3,2,1 After Day 1 it is WCM 118, CVAS 70 Crap, I would not have accepted the challenge if I knew how many old people they have. However, it must be noted that when there was actual head to head competition, no CVAS swimmer finished behind any WCM swimmer.

I might be wrong, but I can't see it happening. GO CALIFORNIA!
  • it's never fair head to head when one team dominates the olders age groups. actually to be more PC, the team with the most swimmers tend to get the most points, regardless of the age group.

Flatten their tires and take their walkers... That would have worked better. We planned to have C-E in every relay with all sorts of recently un-retired swimmers who could get off work early to swim a 50. Instead, we had total chaos with people not showing up in time, several DQ's and other assorted maladies. After day 2 the score is WCM 935 CVAS 434
  • After day 2 the score is WCM 935 CVAS 434 The Wall Nuts (ha ha!!) are killing the Fresnoids! But no one could know... this is the friendliest and most fun meet - Also, can I say I will strive to never imagine a Forumite before meeting one again. I am really bad at this and so far I have had the wrong gender twice - and way off base in age 3 times! But oh what a beautiful gang of new friends.
