Thank you for a wonderful Journey to Nationals
Dear Swimmers, Coaches, and Officials,
Four days of competition in Coral Springs certainly exceeded our expectations. There were many exciting races, numerous National Records and plenty of personal best times. More important were the many happy people who enjoyed the competition in a place that most haven’t heard of before and where World Champions are made. We were honored to serve you.
Everyone involved in preparing and running this meet had one goal in mind: creating a relaxed atmosphere for competition and pleasant memories for years to come. It all seemed to come together, of course, with the competitors leading the way with enthusiasm and impressive performances. You made our goal a reality. And for that we thank you.
We’d like to share with you that many of our younger swimmers who volunteered running the meet were inspired by your dedication to swimming, your spirit, and positive attitudes you brought to our pool. You showed our kids how having fun is essential to successful competition.
Of course, we cannot forget the superb job Referees, Bob Brown and Jay Thomas did together with an excellent group of officials. With knowledge, competence, and understanding, they ran the meet flawlessly. Not a single protest was filed during the meet. A big THANK YOU to all of the officials, who worked so hard and efficiently!
We hope that you enjoyed your journey to Nationals and that we at the Coral Springs Aquatic Complex left you with a pleasant smile. We wish you good luck at Long Course Nationals and the World Championships.
