I was wondering if anyone else got the phone call today about their reservations for Nationals being switched to a different hotel? I was supposed to be at the Wellsely now La Quinta Inn South but they say that the hotel is closed for renovation. I've been moved to the La Quinta Inn Deerfield! I'm not going to have a car and was relying on the shuttle to get to the pool. Anyone know what's going on? Will the shuttle go out there? Or am I out of lucl now?!
I just contacted the meet host. He is working with the hotel to determine who the effected swimmers are and make sure they are contacted. He is also working to ensure anyone who signed up for the shuttle is still going to have shuttle service. We should know more tomorrow about the status of all the swimmers at the hotel.
This is an unfortunate situation and the meet host is doing everything they can to take care of us.
I am staying at the LaQuinta Inn on University Dr. in Coral Springs. Is this the same hotel you are talking about? I have not received a phone call or anything about being moved. Should I be concerned?
Is the LaQuinta off 3701 N University Drive going to be impacted?
As it looks like on this forum it appears to only be the Wellsely now La Quinta Inn at 3100 N University Drive.
