There are two more days to send in your postal entries and nine more days to enter on line. So far we have 567 entries--163 postal (29%) and 404 on line (71%). Most swimmers wait until the last week so so to enter. Many want to get a few times from one more meet. The total number of entries will be about 2.5 to 3 times the current number.
The sixth entry is rarely dropped for Short Course Nationals. It is more common to drop the sixth event for Long Course Nationals because one course is used instead of two. The decision is made not on the number of entries, but on on long each day lasts. The number of lanes in each course has a large affect on the length of each day.
