I have a day off and have been surfing the net. Can someone help me with a cheap room within reasonable walking distance from the Hall of Fame pool? My regular cheaper places are booked with blocks of people. I've tried the Nina Lee and the Bahia Cabana. One other small place is charging as much as the Clipper so I said NO THANKS- can't remember the name but it is on Seabreeze Blvd. also.
After reviewing things online I found a great link! I'm not sure why it isn't posted officially yet. Be sure once you get on you have the correct sub-link because the title of our meet is very close to regular nationals for kids.

i was on hotels.com and found a hotel near the Days Inn Bahia Cabana. the other hotel is the Bahia Beach Hotel. on mapquest, it appears to be about 0.5 miles from the pool. booking rooms from wednesday to sunday is about $370. this is for a 2 person room.
