The 2002 USMS Long Course National Championships will be held August 15-18, 2002 at the Robert F. Busbey Natatorium at Cleveland State University.

The social will be held at the world famous Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Museum on Friday, August 16. We will have exclusive use of the museum for the evening! In addition, there will be a wonderful meal presented by Executive Caterers, a well known caterer in northern Ohio.

It certainly was a great meet in Cleveland! And thanks to all concerned. In the ten years or so that have passed since I swam in the same pool at a National YMCA meet, the men's locker has progressed from the world's worst to the world's best!!
I was pleasantly surprised to find that all of the events were swum in heats governed by age group, rather than exclusively by seed times. (That is, all events of 200 meters or less). Actually, I have spent hours both before and after the meet trying to ascertain if it was written that it was going to happen that way, but haven't been able to find anything other than the deck seeding announcement and warning.
Please, if anyone can find the place where it is so written, point it out to me and anyone else who might be interested.
