The 2017 Southwest Zone & SPMS Short Course Meters Championships so coming up soon and the Long Beach Grunions are excited and ready to host another fantastic meet. Last year, over 500 swimmers from all over North America helped us become one of the largest meets in the nation.
We are back at the Brenda Villa Aquatic Center located in Commerce, California. The facility has two indoor heated pools, two dry-heat saunas, deck space and a second-level balcony for seating.
To accommodate the ever growing number of participants while maintaining a comfortable time-line we have elected to reserve the right to remove a sixth event for all swimmers. In order to avoid missing your favorite event, we have provided a way to specify this sixth event during registration.
The host hotel, The DoubleTree, has a fantastic room rate of $139.00 + tax per night, complimentary WiFi and free parking. The hotel is located in the Citadel, a very large outlet mall, filled with shops and restaurants and is only 5 minutes from the pool.
